Heavy Rainfall In Pune On 25th And 26th of June – IMD Prediction
Pune, 23rd June 2023: The wait for rain in Pune is finally going to come to an end as according to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), heavy showers are expected in the city and its surrounding areas on 25th and 26th June.
As per the IMD weather forecast, Pune is likely to experience heavy rainfall during these two days, with a possibility of more rain in the hilly regions. Additionally, moderate showers have been predicted for 24th June.
Usually, Pune gets approximately 100 millimetres of rainfall in June. However, this year has seen only 20.7 mm of rainfall so far. The delayed monsoon arrival has resulted in heatwave conditions and increased temperatures, causing discomfort among the residents. Therefore, the upcoming heavy rainfall will bring much-needed relief from the scorching heat.
