Pune: PMC Extends Warm Welcome To Palanquins Of Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj And Sant Tukaram Maharaj
Pune, 12th June 2023: The palanquins of revered saints Shri Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj and Shri Sant Tukaram Maharaj received a warm welcome in Pune, courtesy of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).
Vikram Kumar, Administrator, and Commissioner of PMC, personally greeted the palanquins today. The palanquin of Shri Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj was welcomed at Late Sayajirao Kusmade Sankul in Kalas on Pune-Alandi Road, while the palanquin of Shri Sant Tukaram Maharaj was received at Bopodi Chowk on Old Pune-Mumbai Highway.
During this auspicious occasion, Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar extended a heartfelt welcome to the farmers participating in the Dindi procession, offering them coconuts and rose flowers.

The event saw a significant presence of esteemed officials, including Dr Kunal Khemnar, Additional Commissioner of Pune Municipal Corporation, Ravindra Binwade, Additional Municipal Commissioner, Madhav Jagtap, Deputy Commissioner, Santosh Warule, Deputy Commissioner, Kishori Shinde, Deputy Commissioner, Sandeep Khalate, Municipal Assistant Commissioner, and numerous other officers and employees.
