Pune: Revised Water Supply Schedule Introduced In Kharadi To Address Complaints

Pune, 8th June 2023: In response to the water supply plan implemented in Pune, the entire city experiences a halt in water supply every Thursday. However, there have been grievances regarding inadequate water supply in certain areas of Ward No. 4, specifically in Kharadi. In light of these complaints, a revised water supply schedule has been devised for Kharadi, set to commence from Saturday, June 10.

The new schedule outlines the following water supply timings for Kharadi:

  • On Fridays, Sundays, and Tuesdays, water will be supplied from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM to the following areas: Chandannagar, Srikrishna Society, Hanuman School, Mathuranagar, Sangharsh Chowk, Shivaji Putala, Dattaprasad, Chavan Nagar, Trimurti Society, Preet Nagar, Samata Society, Mhada Society, and Nagpal Road area.
  • For Chaudhary Vasti, Satavasti, Pandharinagar, Gulmohar, Rakshaknagar, and Shankarnagar area, water supply will be available from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM on Fridays, Sundays, and Tuesdays.
  • On Saturdays, Mondays, and Wednesdays, water will be supplied from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM to Borate Vasti Galli (no. 1 to 13), Shankarnagar, Vrindavan Society, Raghavendranagar, Yashwantnagar, Tukram Nagar, Sitara Bakery, Sai Park, Shejwal Park, and Saibaba Temple area. Additionally, Ganpati Society, Tukaramnagar, Boratevasti, Zensar, Thite Nagar, and Patil Buanagar area will receive water supply from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM.

The water supply department of the municipal corporation has urged citizens to cooperate with the revised schedule and ensure compliance. This adjustment aims to address the concerns raised by residents regarding insufficient water supply. By implementing this revised plan, the authorities strive to alleviate the inconvenience caused and provide improved water distribution to the affected areas in Kharadi.
