Wagholi, 27th May 2023: A few days ago, a big controversy arose over the dress code board in the Tuljabhavani temple of Tuljapur. Meanwhile, a rule was made that devotees wearing indecent clothes would not be allowed into the temple. But after controversy arose over this, the decision was withdrawn on behalf of the temple institutions. After implementing the dress code in four temples in Nagpur, a similar decision has been taken in Pune.

According to the information received, short clothes have been banned while going for darshan in the core of the Wagheshwar temple at Wagholi, a suburb of Pune City. Women wearing one-piece, short skirts, and short pants will not be allowed to enter the temple.

Meanwhile, there is a crowd of devotees for darshan in this temple. But the number of people coming for darshan wearing short clothes is increasing. Other devotees have also complained to the trust about the same. This decision has been taken by President Satav and Vice President Dabhade of Wagholi Development Establishment to maintain the sanctity of the temple.
