Pune: Three-Year-Old Boy Fatally Struck By Bolero In Nigdi As Car Door Opens Causing Him To Fall From Bike
Pimpri Chinchwad, 22nd May 2023: A motorcyclist carrying children lost balance on the road as a result of a careless car driver abruptly opening their car door. A three-year-old boy lost his life on the spot after being hit by a Bolero vehicle approaching from behind.
Adesh Vishnu Vikhare (42), a resident of Nigdi, has filed a case against the drivers of the car and the SUV at the Nigdi Police Station.
The incident occurred while the bike rider was transporting the children to see Khandoba. Suddenly, the car door swung open on the road, causing both boys to fall along with the motorcyclist. Tragically, a speeding Bolero pickup truck ran over the three-year-old boy.
Following the accident, both drivers involved fled without helping the victims. Nigdi police have initiated a thorough investigation into the matter.
