Case Registered Against Three For Stealing Shoes In Pune
Khadki, 22nd May 2023: A case of theft has been registered against three persons for stealing slippers in Pune. Thieves have stolen as many as 55 pairs of slippers and shoes from a shop in the Khadki area of Pune. Three people together have looted 55 pairs of chappals worth Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000. They have stolen 40 men’s shoes and 15 ladies’ shoes.
Haresh Ahuja filed a police complaint in this case. Police have arrested the culprits, Sagar Chandane, Akash Kapoor, and Arbaaz Sheikh while investigating this theft.
According to the information given by the police, Ahuja has a shoe godown in the Khadki Bazar area. After closing the godown on Saturday night, the three youths broke into the godown shutters and stole a total of 55 pairs of shoes and boots, and ran away.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that these youths, being uneducated, did this theft for livelihood as well as for drinking alcohol. A case has been registered against these three in Khadki police station.
This incident has been captured on CCTV. As soon as Ahuja realized that a theft had taken place in his shop, he complained to the Khadki police station. On Ahuja’s complaint, the police registered a case against the accused. The investigation started with the help of CCTV footage.
