Pune: Lonavala Is Full Of Tourists; Heavy Traffic On National Highway
Lonavala, 20th May 2023: Lonavala is house full as tourists prefer the cities of Lonavala-Khandala to enjoy their weekend. Since the weather in Lonavala is cold except for a few hours in the afternoon, a large number of tourists from Mumbai are visiting Lonavala to enjoy the cool atmosphere. Due to this rush of tourists, there has been a huge traffic jam on both sides of the Mumbai- Pune National Highway and there has also been a traffic jam at Khandala Ghat.
Rajmachi Garden, Khandala Boating Club, Tungarli Dam, Pavana Dam area, Lion’s Point, Karla Caves, and Lohgad Fort in Khandala are full of tourists. In fact, it is the central hub of monsoon tourism in all places.
However, due to the severe heat that people are preferring the places of Lonavala, Matheran, and Mahabaleshwar. Hotels, bungalows, and private farmhouses in Lonavala are full as of now.
