Pune: Traffic On Malshej Ghat To Continue As Usual
Pune, 18th May 2023: The National Highway Sub-Division said late on Wednesday (17th May) that the traffic in Narayangaon-Malshej Ghat will continue as usual. Double Concreting of National Highway No 61 is in progress at Ahmednagar Kalyan Highway No. 61. Therefore, the traffic route was changed as the road work will be done on Friday (19th May) every Thursday from 6 am to 6 pm.
Accordingly, the Assistant Executive Engineer, National Highway Sub-Division, Murbad (Thane) informed about the changed traffic system through a circular. The alternative routes were;
Kalyan- Malshej Ghat, Khubi, Karanjale, Khireshwar, Kolhewadi-Saganore, Pimpalgaon Joga, Bhoirwadi, Kolwadi, Otur, Alephata, Ahmednagar.
Assistant Engineer, National Highway Sub-Division informed that due to some technical difficulties, the road work at the planned place in Malshej Ghat has been postponed and the Nagar-Kalyan Highway will continue for all types of vehicles until further notice.
