Pune: Pune Girls , Nagpur Boys emerge at Deccan Gymkhana Under 13 State basketball tournament

Pune, 14th May 2023 – Pune District Girls Team and Nagpur District Boys team emerged winners in the Under 13 Boys and Girls State Championships basketball tournament organized by Deccan Gymkhana Club in association with Maha Basketball Association and Pune Adhoc Committee and played at Deccan Gymkhana Club Basketball Courts.

In the Girls Final Pune registered a 70- 30 win over Mumbai Suburban Saloni Patil 20pts and Anusha Sontakke 16pts played stellar role in the win

In the boys section Nagpur overcame a fighting Mumbai Suburban team 47-36 to claim the title

The winner and runner up received trophy, medals and certificates.

Nagpur: 47(Om Raut 12pts, Urjit Deogade 8pts) bt Mumbai Suburban:36(Gaurav Mandal 8pts, Sandhu Harchella 12pts); Half Time: 18-10;

3rd and 4th place:Pune: 53(Daksh Sharma 19pts, Harshit Pamparia 8pts, Aryan Prajapti 8pts) bt Mumbai City:25(Kevin Nadar 12pts);

Girls:Final Round:
Pune: 70(Saloni Patil 20pts, Anusha Sontakke 16pts) bt Mumbai Suburban: 30(Gauri Annigeri 6pts, Nandini Patel 4pts); Half Time: 32-13;

3rd & 4th Place: Satara:28(Manasvi Deshmukh 8pts, Tanuja Gaikwad 5pts) bt Mumbai City: 25(Swara Takke 12pts); Half Time: 16-10;
