Pune, May 14th, 2023: During his visit to Pune yesterday for a program, AIMIM MP Imtiaz Jaleel shared his views on various issues, including the BJP’s defeat in the Karnataka assembly elections. One of the reasons he highlighted for the defeat was the alleged demand of 40 percent commissions by ministers from contractors.

MP Jaleel spoke to journalists after being felicitated at Patrakar Bhavan by the Republican Yuva Morcha for his role in preventing riots during the Ram Navami celebration in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The felicitation was by senior socialist leader Kumar Saptrishi, in the presence of Rahul Dambale, the president of the Republican Yuva Morcha.

MP Jaleel questioned the situation in the Maharashtra government, stating that individuals seeking large-scale projects in the state have to pay bribes to ministers. “There is a 20% commission government here,” Jaleel criticized the administration of the Shinde Fadnavis government.

Highlighting the BJP’s defeat in Karnataka, Jaleel also made critical remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. He mentioned that he would sponsor two tickets to the movie “The Kerala Story” along with popcorn for them, suggesting that they were disconnected from the realities faced by the people.

“I sponsor Kerala Story film ticket and popcorn for Modi-Shah”

Jaleel went on to say, “The failure in Karnataka is a direct reflection of Prime Minister Modi’s leadership. I have sponsored two tickets and popcorn for the movie ‘Kerala Story’ to be enjoyed by Narendra Modi and Amit Shah on my behalf.”

Jaleel accused the BJP of attempting to establish a dictatorship in the country, which was rejected by the voters of Karnataka through their ballots. He highlighted the BJP’s strategy of using films like “Kashmir Files” to influence the outcome of elections in Madhya Pradesh and Kerala. However, he stated that the BJP did not achieve any significant results through these tactics. He expressed his gratitude to the people of Karnataka and believed that Maharashtra would learn from this experience. He anticipated that the election results in Rajasthan and the upcoming Lok Sabha elections would reflect a similar sentiment.

“People who advised Muslims to go to Pakistan are now providing defense secrets to ISI”

MP Jaleel also raised concerns about DRDO lab director Pradeep Kurulkar’s affiliation with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Jaleel further highlighted the hypocrisy of those who urge Muslims to leave for Pakistan, despite their unwavering loyalty to India. “India is our country, and we have no intention of going to Pakistan,” he asserted. He went on to suggest that those who propagate such sentiments are the very individuals who have chosen to relocate to Pakistan themselves. Jaleel also expressed concerns about sensitive information from India finding its way to Pakistan through such individuals.
