Pune: Shiv Sena Shinde Group Supporters Rejoice as Supreme Court Verdict Ends Power Struggle in Maharashtra
Pune, 11th May 2023: Today, the Supreme Court delivered its judgment on the power struggle in Maharashtra, a case that has captivated the entire nation. Chief Justice Dhananjay Chandrachud announced the verdict in the Constitutional Court, marking a significant moment in the state’s political landscape.
In light of the court’s decision, Shiv Sainiks of Eknath Shinde took to the streets near Sarasbag, starting at Shiv Sena Bhavan, to express their jubilation. They marched towards the Balasaheb Thackeray Kaladalan, where they adorned the statue of the late Balasaheb Thackeray with garlands. Chants of “Shiv Sena Zindabad” filled the air, resonating with the enthusiasm and pride felt by every Shiv Sainik present.
Prominent figures in attendance included Shiv Sena City Chief Pramod Nana Bhangire, Bharatiya Janata Party City Chief Jagdish Mulik, District Chief Ramesh Bappu Konde, Joint Liaison Chief Ajay Bappu Bhosle, Youth Sena State Secretary Kiran Sali, Youth Sena Joint Liaison Chief Avinash Khedekar, Youth Sena City Chief Nilesh Girme, Women’s wing President Linatai Pansare, and Pune City Vice President of BJP Dhananjay Jadhav. Other attendees included Prashant Harsule, Nihal Ghodke, Pushkar Tuljapurkar, Office Minister Sanjay Deshmukh, numerous office bearers, and Shiv Sainiks.
The celebrations were marked by a vibrant display of fireworks and an overwhelming sense of pride, reflecting both the ideology of the late Anand Dighe and the accomplishments of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
