Pune: Woman Booked For Blackmailing Man After Filming Intimate Video
Wagholi, 3rd May 2023: Pune police have registered a case against a young woman for her alleged involvement in a heinous blackmailing scheme against a young man whom she met through social media.
According to the complainant, a resident of Wagholi, he met the accused on a social media platform, and they became acquainted. However, after the two engaged in a consensual physical relationship, the accused filmed their encounter without his consent. She had ensured that her face is not captured.
The accused then began using the footage to blackmail the victim, threatening to send the video to his family and friends if he refused to comply with her demands for money. The victim, who was
understandably distressed by the situation, finally decided to report the matter to the police.
The Lonikand police have taken cognizance of the complaint and have registered a case against the accused, who remains at large. Further investigation is going on.
