Pune: Discover Pimpri-Chinchwad’s Attractions with PMPML’S New Bus Service
Pimpri Chinchwad, 28th April 2023: Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has resumed its ‘Pimpri-Chinchwad Darshan’ bus service, which will enable citizens and tourists to travel to historical, scenic, and religious places in Pimpri-Chinchwad city.
The bus service was initially started in 2019 but was suspended due to a lack of response from passengers. However, due to increasing demand, the service is being restored with two air-conditioned buses from May 1, 2023.
The bus service will start at 9 AM from the Nigdi (Bhakti Shakti) Bus Stand and will take passengers to 12 historical and religious sites, including Bhakti Shakti Udyan (Running), Shirgaon, Dehugaon (main temple), Dehu Gatha Temple, Bird Valley, Science Park, Chafekar Bandhu Memorial (Running), Shri Morya Gosavi Temple, Mangalmurthy Palace, Chafekar Wada, ISKCON Temple and Appughar / Durga Hill.
“The ticket price for the ‘Pimpri-Chinchwad Darshan’ bus service will be Rs 500 per passenger, and tickets will be available at pass centres in Nigdi, Bhosari, and Pimpri Lokhande Bhawan. Travelers should note that tourist spots may be omitted due to a lack of time. The timing of the bus will be from 9:00 AM to 7:15 PM”, PMPML stated in a press release.
