Pune, 26th April 2023: Mahadiscom, the electricity distribution company in Pune circle, has issued a warning to 6,60,527 domestic, commercial, and industrial consumers with overdue electricity bills totaling Rs 133 crore 37 lakh.

As a result of non-payment despite repeated appeals, proceedings to disconnect power supply are underway. The company has already cut power supply to 2,200 consumers with arrears.

In order to make it easier for consumers to pay their current and overdue bills, Mahadiscom has announced that all authorized bill payment centers will be open during office hours on Saturday and Sunday public holidays. In addition, low-pressure electricity consumers can pay their bills online through the company’s website and mobile app.
