Rain With Hailstorms Along With Thunders In Pune; Yellow Alert For Next Two Days
Pune, 25th April 2023: There is a possibility of rain with hailstorms in Pune city and district for the next two days. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced a yellow alert. The sky will remain cloudy during the day.
A low-pressure belt is passing through the interior of Maharashtra. Therefore, cloudy weather is likely to increase for the next few days. There is a chance of rain with thunder and lightning. The atmosphere has become unstable due to an increase in air humidity and increase in temperature during the day.
The citizens of Pune have got some relief as the maximum temperature has dropped for the last three-four days. Last week the maximum temperature crossed the 40°C. However, the temperature dropped below 40°C for two days.
Meanwhile, there is a possibility of hailstorms in the Pune district on the 26th of April. The sky will remain partly cloudy for the next five days. Thunderstorms and light rain along with gusty winds are expected.
