Pune Resident Loses Rs 81 Lakh In Investment Fraud
Pune, 20th April 2023: A man was cheated out of Rs 81 lakh 50 thousand by an investment company. The accused has been identified as Dyaneshwar Laxman Ghadge, a resident of Wagle Estate, Pune. The case was registered at Samarth police station after Swapnil Rajendra Dhairkar, the victim, filed a complaint against the accused.
According to the police, the accused gained the trust of the complainant and convinced him to invest in his company, Income Route Investment and Financial Services Private Limited. Initially, the accused refunded the investment on time, which led the complainant to trust him. The accused then promised to pay nine percent of the investment after deducting TDS every month. However, after taking a total of Rs 81 lakh 50 thousand, the accused disappeared, leaving the victim empty-handed.
The Samarth police have launched an investigation into the case, but the accused has not been arrested yet. Police sub-inspector S Trambke is leading the investigation to determine the extent of the fraud and locate the accused.
