Thieves Strike In Various Parts Of Pune, Stealing Valuables And Cash

Pune, 20th April 2023: Several burglaries have taken place in different parts of the city, including Narhe, Lohegaon, and Shivne. Thieves have broken locks of closed houses and have stolen valuables, including gold and silver ornaments. The total amount stolen in these incidents is estimated to be more than Rs 7 lakhs in cash.

On April 15, a burglary took place in Sharvil Society in Narhe, where thieves broke into a closed flat and stole Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand in cash. Prashant Hanamghar has filed a complaint in this regard at Sinhagad police station, and the case is being investigated by Assistant Police Inspector Yadav.

Similarly, on April 19, thieves broke into a residential house on Gurudwara road in Lohegaon, and stole Rs 35,000 cash and valuables, totally worth Rs 2.82 lakh. The victim, a senior citizen, has filed a complaint at the airport police station, and the case is being investigated by police sub-inspector RS Dhaware.

In another incident that took place on March 18, a female thief stole jewelry worth Rs 2 lakhs from two women in Ashirwad Society in Shivne. The police are currently searching for the accused, and police sub-inspector Lugde is investigating the case.

The police have registered cases in all these incidents and are investigating them.
