Several Areas in Pune Face Electricity Outages Today Due to Maintenance Work
Pune, 20th April 2023: The Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Co Ltd (Mahatransco) has announced power cuts in various parts of Pune due to maintenance and repair works. Several areas in Narhe, Sinhagad Road, and Nanded City will experience a power outage from 9 am to 6 pm on Thursday. The company has urged residents to bear with them during this period, as the maintenance work is essential for the smooth functioning of the power supply.
However, many residents have criticized the timing of the maintenance work, as the temperature in the city is already high. They have expressed their concerns about the inconvenience the power cuts will cause, particularly for businesses and educational institutions in the affected areas.
The power outage will affect several establishments and areas, including Nanded City, Narhe village, JSPMS college, Zeal college, Abhinav college, Swami Narayan Mandir, Prabhat Press, Pari Company, PMC NDA Water works, Khadakwasla Switching, Potdar School, Bharti Vidyapeeth, Bafna Auto, Trimurti Chowk, Tukai Nagar, Tukainagar Water Works, Abhiruchi sub center, Sinhagad College, Wadgaon, Bhide Baug, Rajyog Society, Lagad Mala, Manikbaug, Nanded Phata to Dhayari Bridge, Dhayari Industrial Area, Wanjale Bridge, Prayeja Society, Suncity, Wadgaon, Funtime Society, and Hingane village, Jhagde Gotha.
The company has apologized for any inconvenience the power cuts may cause and assured residents that power will be restored as soon as possible once the maintenance work is completed.
