Pune: S. S. Nagarkar Jewelers Launches Shree Rukmini Collection: Mythology-Inspired Jewelry

Pune, 17th April 2023: S. S. Nagarkar Jewelers, a jewelry store with a rich tradition of 50 years, has launched the Shree Rukmini Collection, a range of jewelry inspired by the spiritual ideas and design methodology of the Sri Vitthal Rukmini Murthy idol in Maharashtra. The collection features traditional jewelry pieces such as Putlihar, Masoli, Bajuband, Mangalsutra, Lakshmi Har, Chandrahar Ranihar, and various bangles, jhumka nath, and nathni.

At a press conference, the directors of S. S. Nagarkar Jewelers, Prasad Nagarkar, Vasant Nagarkar, Pushkar Nagarkar, and S. S. Nagarkar unveiled the Shree Rukmini Collection, which aims to preserve the culture and tradition of Maharashtra. The collection is based on the temple and idols of Maharashtra’s deity Shri Vitthal Rukmini temple and idols from 800 to 1200.

Vasant Nagarkar stated that it took seven years to study various photographs and temples before creating the Shree Rukmini Collection. The collection is made by experienced artisans using rubies, emeralds, diamonds, polki diamonds, and other traditional jewelry materials.

Interestingly, the Shree Rukmini Collection will only be available for two months. Customers who want to make jewelry through mythological photographs can also have them made. S. S. Nagarkar Jewelers shops are available for customers to purchase the Shree Rukmini Collection.
