Pune: Senior Citizen Cyclist Dies After Being Hit By Speeding Vehicle
Pune, 28th March 2023: The incident of the death of a senior citizen on a bicycle after being hit by a speeding vehicle took place in the Ghorpadi village area. A case has been registered against the driver who escaped after the accident.
The deceased bike rider has been identified as Ramdas Keshav Patole (65), a resident of Kasewadi, Bhawani Peth. Kailas Patole (58), a resident of Kasewadi, Bhawani Peth, has filed a complaint at Wanwadi Police Station.
Reportedly, Ramdas Patole was riding a bicycle on Victoria road in the Ghorpadi village area. At that time, a speeding vehicle hit him. Patole, who was seriously injured in the accident, died during treatment. Police are on the lookout for the driver who escaped, and Police Sub-Inspector Pravin Kharwade is investigating.
