Pune Barber Sets New Record: Cuts Hair Of 540 People For 18.5 Hours
Karvenagar, 20th March 2023: Santosh Dattatray Suravase from Pune has established a record by cutting the hair of 540 people for about 18.5 hours for free.
The Director of Anand Men’s Parlor in Pune’s Karvenagar area, Santosh Dattatray Suravase, started free haircutting on 19th March at around 9.00 am. After 18.5 hours of hard work, i.e., till 3:30 am, he has set a unique world record by cutting the hair of 540 people.
Suravase said, “I am a Barber and have seen that our field is underestimated. I am recording the achievement to take our field one step higher. Women are proudly called beauticians, but men are only pronounced as barbers without any respect. Therefore, I am recording this today so that we can also get a place of respect.”
