Pune: Three-Year-Old Girl Found Strangled to Death in Khadki, Police Launch Search for Suspect

Khadki, 3rd March 2023: A horrifying incident has come to light in Khadki where the lifeless body of a three-year-old girl has been found. The Pune police have registered a case of murder against an unknown person in connection with the tragic incident. Although the identity of the victim remains unknown, the body has been sent to Sassoon Hospital for post-mortem.
The discovery of the girl’s body near the CAFVD Ground on the south side of the road leading from Khadki Railway Station to Khadki Bazar has created shockwaves throughout the cantonment area. In response, Crime Branch teams, together with Khadki Police station, have been mobilized to search for the perpetrator.
According to reports, the Khadki Police were informed by the police control room at around 3.30 pm on Thursday. Upon arriving at the scene, they discovered that the girl had been strangled to death. The culprit remains at large.
The tragic incident has sparked concerns regarding the safety of children in the city, with senior police officers visiting the site and directing the investigation. While the motive for the murder remains unclear, the police have appealed to anyone with information to come forward to help identify the victim.
Police Inspector (Crime) Man Singh Patil of Khadki Police Station is leading the investigation into the crime.
