Pune: Anand Dave Of Hindu Federation Files Candidature For Kasba Peth By-Election
Pune, 7th February 2023: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) nominated Hemant Rasane for the Kasba Peth Assembly by-election without nominating any of the family members of late MLA Mukta Tilak. Shailesh Tilak expressed his displeasure for not giving a chance to any of the family members. Since then, many developments have gained momentum.
Anand Dave of the Hindu Mahasangh met Shailesh Tilak on Monday. After this, he announced that he will file his candidature for the Kasba Peth Assembly by-election tomorrow. Then today, Dave filed out the independent candidature form.
“Kasba Constituency has many problems. They will be solved in the coming period and the main thing is to liberate Punyashwar. There are two corporators in this by-election who were working the same for 20 years, then Why development in the Kasba constituency was not done when both of them were corporators?”, Dave said and challenged Rasane and Ravindra Dhangekar of Congress to come for a discussion. He expressed confidence that he will be elected with a huge majority in this election.
The by-election was announced after the death of Kasba Assembly Constituency MLA Mukta Tilak. After that, today, Hemant Rasane from BJP and Ravindra Dhangekar from Mahavikas Aghadi filed their candidature showing their strength. After that, Anand Dave of the Hindu Mahasangh filed nomination form for the Kasba Peth Assembly by-election.
