Pune: Maharashtra State Prison Officers and Staff Annual Sports Competition Begins
Yerwada, 6th February 2023: The state-level annual sports competition for officers and staff of the Maharashtra Prison Department has been organized from 6th February to 9th February 2023 at Daulatrao Jadhav Prison Officers Training College, Yerwada, Pune.
The competition was inaugurated today at 5.00 pm by Amitabh Gupta, Additional Director General of Police and Inspector General, Prisons and Correctional Services, Maharashtra State. On this occasion, DIG Prisons Swati Sathe, Yogesh Desai, Principal Prison Officer Training College Chandramani Indurkar, Yerwada Jail Superintendent Shiv Shankar Patil and various Jail Superintendents and other officers and staff of the state were present.
100m Run, Shot Put, Long Jump, 800m Run, Ring Tennis, Volleyball, Kabaddi, Karate, Javelin Throw, 4×100 Relay, 400m Run, 200m Run, Mat Wrestling, Walking, and other games are included in the competition.
