Lecture on Shakespeare by renowned Critic and Scholar Andrew Dickson
Pune, December 02: Here comes a golden opportunity for the fans of Shakespeare to know more about this legend whose literary work are still being staged in countless villages, cities and metropolises for more than 400 years. British Council in association with St. Mira’s College for Girls, Pune is all set to organise a lecture of the popular writer and Shakespeare scholar, Andrew Dickson where he will be talking on his all-time favourite subject, William Shakespeare.
Unveiling the stories and incidences from the life of Shakespeare, Andrew Dickson will deliver a lecture on, ‘Worlds Elsewhere: Journeys around Shakespeare’s Globe’.
Open and free for all, the lecture will be held on Tuesday, December 6th, at 9:30am at St. Mira’s College for Girls. This lecture will be a curtain raiser event of the 2-day international conference, ‘Global Shakespeare’, which will be held on December 16th & 17th at St. Mira’s College for Girls.
