‘Maneesha Nrityalaya’ celebrates its 42nd anniversary
Pune, November 28th: With an aim to run the legacy of Kathak dance which she learnt from her Kathak Guru Pandit Gopikrishna, internationally acclaimed Kathak danseuse Pandita Maneesha Sathe, started a Kathak Dance Institute in Pune in the year 1975, named as ‘Maneesha Nrityalaya’. On completing successful 42 years, the institute will celebrate its anniversary on December 2nd, 5.30pm at Balgandharva Rangmadir located on Jangli Maharaj Road, Pune.
Pandita Manisha Sathe will perform on stage during this program along with her disciples. The evening will feature Kathak dance performances like Trivat, Sargam, Tarana, Hori, Malhar, Gavlan, Haveli Sangeet, Shabdbrahma etc.
