Two notorious goons killed in encounter with Pune rural police

Pune – Two notorious criminals were killed during encounter with Pune rural police in Chakan on Tuesday morning.

The deceased have been identified as Sham Dabhade and Dhananjay Shinde. There are several cases of robbery, dacoity and kidnapping are registered against them.

The encounter took place at the Varsai windmill hillock in Chakan.

Police officials said that based on tip-off that the duo are hiding there, team reached there and asked to surrender. However the accused persons reportedly began firing on the police. They had allegedly fired nine rounds while police fired back five rounds.
A total of four pistols, one country made katta, and 42 bullets were seized from their possession.
