Pune, 17th January 2023: It is seen that even after the ban, the selling and purchasing of Nylon Manja are still going on. Today, a Fire Brigade driver injured his neck in the Kondhwa area while going to work.
The injured jawan has been identified as Navnath Mandhare, who works as the driver of the Fire Brigade vehicle. The said incident happened at around 2 pm.
Mandhare works at the central fire station. He was assigned duty near the Kondhwa area. While going to Kondhwa Fire Station this afternoon, Mandhare was not able to see a nylon Manja hanging on a tree near Apsara Talkies and got injured.
While talking to PunekarNews.in, Ganesh Sasane, Fire Brigade Official informed, “The impact was so severe that Mandhare started to bleed and started losing consciousness. But still, in this condition, he got up and tried to cut the Manja so no one could get harmed.”
“He contacted his brother who lives at Kamthadi near Nasrapur. And the brother then called me for help,” Sasane added further.
