Pune Municipal Corporation To Restore Shaniwarwada Before G20 Summit
Pune, 5th January 2023: On the 15th and 16th of January, representatives from 20 nations will fly into Pune to take part in the G20 Global Summit. They will visit the famous Shaniwarwada.
The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has taken on the task of renovating Shaniwarwada to make sure that the international delegates’ visit to the ancient location is a special one.
The COVID-19 shutdown forced a halt to the screening of the sound and light spectacle inside Shaniwarwada for a while, but it has already resumed. The task of replacing the tiles on the open ground flooring in front of Shaniwarwada’s main entrance has also been taken on. Electric ornamental lamps are embellishing the front walls and bastions. In addition to the ground-level compound wall in front of the Wada, the main door is being painted.
The Wada’s lawn has been cut recently. The vacant places that practically resembled a dump yard along Wada’s Bajirao Road and Shivaji Road have been cleaned.
