Schedule Announced For CBSE CTET Exam 2023; Check Details Here

New Delhi, 4th January 2023: Today, (Wednesday), the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) test schedule was announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

A notice from the Education Ministry states that the exam would be administered by the CBSE from January 9 through February 7, 2023.

According to the statement, all exams will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode. The examination will be held in 211 cities across the country.

The notification read, “The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi, has been given the task of administering the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. In light of this, the Central Board of Secondary Education has established the dates for the examination’s CBT Mode administration from 09.01.2023 to 07.02.2023 (Computer Based Test). On the CTET website, https://ctet.nic.in, there is a public notice detailing the dates of the examination.”

CBSE CTET 2022 Exam Details:

The CTET 2022 will be administered in 20 different languages at testing locations throughout the nation.
The test will be taken through CBT (Computer Based Test) format by the CBSE.
There will be a Paper 1 Primary Stage Exam for vacancies in classes 1 through 5.
There will be a Paper 2 Elementary Stage Exam for openings in classes 6 through 8.
There will be two and a half hours between Papers 1 and 2.

CTET Paper 1 exam is divided into five sections:

Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 questions, 30 marks
Language I (compulsory): 30 questions, 30 marks
Language II (compulsory): 30 questions, 30 marks
Mathematics: 30 questions, 30 marks
Environmental Studies: 30 questions, 30 marks
Total: 150 questions, 150 marks

CTET Paper 2 exam is divided into four sections:

Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 questions, 30 marks
Language I (compulsory): 30 questions, 30 marks
Language II (compulsory): 30 questions, 30 marks
Mathematics & Science: 30 + 30 questions, 60 marks
OR
Social Studies & Social Science: 60 questions, 60 marks
Total: 150 questions, 150 marks
