Pune: Complaint Of Fees Charged Even When Schools Are Closed During Corona
Pune, 2nd January 2023: Despite the school being completely closed during Corona pandemic, the parents of St. Anne’s School in Triveni Nagar have complained about being charged full fees and fines.
According to the complaint application and supporting documents, the Deputy Director of Education Audumbar Ukirde has ordered the Education Officer of Pune Zilla Parishad Secondary Department ordered an investigation.
Raosaheb Thorat from Shiv Sena’s Bhosari unit, had made a complaint about St. Anne school to the Deputy Director of Education, Audumbar Ukirde. During Corona, schools were completely shut down. Thorat, on the other hand, had written a letter of complaint to the Deputy Director of Education about how the St. Anne’s School administration had taken the entire fee and fine from Sakshi Thorat and Harshada Somal, two students. Taking cognizance of this, the Deputy Director of Education Ukirde has ordered the Education Officer of Pune Zilla Parishad Secondary Department to investigate this school.
