Income Tax Raid On Major Construction Companies In Pune
Pune, 14th December 2022: The officials of the Income Tax Department have started raids on the offices of big builders in Pune along with various business companies related to them from Wednesday (14th December) morning.
Sources in the Income Tax Department stated that an investigation into financial transactions and tax evasion of these companies have been started, and many documents and files have been seized. The official also informed that around 30 teams of the Income Tax Department are working at different places in Pune.
According to the information received from the Income Tax Department, the team raided Nyati Group, a construction company. Along with this, some teams of the Income Tax Department have also been inside the famous Corinthian Club in Wanwadi since early morning.
An investigation has also been initiated there. Along with this, preliminary information has been received that inquiry has also been started against Viraj Steel in the steel business and Choice Group of Vimannagar. The media has not received any information or explanation from the concerned companies in this regard, and efforts are being made to contact them.
