Pune: EPFO Organises Awareness Campaigns Across Various Sites About Provident Fund
Pune, 13th December 2022: An awareness campaign was organized by the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Akurdi, Pune, in December 2022 at different construction sites, including Punawale, Pimple Saudagar and Baner, under the guidance of K Ravindra Kumar Regional PF Commissioner-I, Manoj Mane Regional PF Commissioner-II, Minhaj Asghar Assistant PF Commissioner and Braj Mohan Kandpal Assistant PF Commissioner.
A team of Enforcement Officers, Satish Bansode and Susan Mudaliar, visited the construction site at Punawale. J M Manwani and Aditya Narayan, Enforcement Officers, visited the construction site at Pimple Saudagar, and Kumar Siddharth and Mohak Nikan, Enforcement Officers, visited the construction site at Baner.
The campaign spread awareness regarding the social security benefits available under EPF and MP Act, 1952, and the schemes with the construction workers. An appeal was made to beware of fake offers on websites, telecalls, SMS, emails, and social media asking to deposit money into a bank account for claim settlement, increased pension, or any service provided by EPFO. The labourers/workers, especially of these sites, attended the campaign and availed important information regarding their queries and benefits. Everyone appreciated the campaign organized and put forth their wish for more campaigns.
