Department of Food organises Nukkad Natak to spread message of of cleanliness

During Swachhta Pakhwada being organized from Oct 16 to Oct 31, 2016. Department of Food and Public Distribution has organized many activities to promote and enhance better environment and working atmosphere and sensitize the Government Servant and others about the benefits of cleanliness and health. Some of the main activities are following:-

• Nukkad Natak on 17/10/2016 and 27/10/2016 in Krishi Bhavan

• Drawing-cum-Painting Competition for the wards of employees of the DFPD on 23/10/2016.

• Essay Competition on Cleanliness on 25/10/2016

• Blood Donation Camp on 27/10/2016 in Krishi Bhavan

Blood Donation Camp organized yesterday was inaugurated on by Secretary (Food & Public Distribution) at Krishi Bhavan, New Delhi. The Government officials of the Department of Food & Public Distribution and other Ministries / Departments of Krishi Bhavan and Shastri Bhawan voluntarily participated in the Blood Donation Camp to donate their Blood and inspired others regarding blood donation. Total 56 Persons including employees of the Department of Food & Public Distribution, CWC, CRWC etc. donated Blood. Nutritious refreshments were provided to all the Donors and others who participated.
