Model arrested from 5 star hotel in Pune for running high profile sex racket

Pune –  A controversial model and actress who claims to be girlfriend of Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi, was arrested by sleuths from Pune city police for being part of a high profile prostitution racket which was being operated from Hotel Arora Towers in Camp.

Though cops have taken custody of her agent, she managed to escape from a remand home in Wanowrie where she was kept for rehabilitation after being ‘rescued’ in raid at the hotel in the wee hours of Tuesday.

Police have identified the arrested agent as Vipul Pawanbahadur Dalal, a native of Assam.

Head constable Shailesh Jagtap had received tip off that the model from Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, had been camping in the city for the last two days for sex racket. Accordingly a team led by ACP Suresh Bhosale and senior police inspector Sanjay Patil from the social security cell raided the posh hotel around 1 am on Tuesday.

Police arrested the agent while took the actress to a rescue home, run by an NGO, in Mohammadwadi from where she fled after beating the wardens. Another case has been registered in this regard with Wanowrie police station.

Police said that the actress has worked in films, advertisements and done some modelling assignments.
