Pune: Man Attacked And Killed For Money, Probe Ongoing

Pune, 27th November 2022: On November 16th, in the Katraj area, Nikhil alias Sanket Chandrashekhar Anumale (32), a resident of Aaisaheb building Swami Sadhan, Ambegaon Budruk, Pune, was viciously attacked and killed. According to sources, the suspects Vishal Amrale, Lahu Mane, and Shubham Mane kidnapped Anumale and severely beat him to death in exchange for money.

The Bharti Vidyapeeth police station has received a complaint from Harshada Nikhil Anumale. According to information obtained by police, a search was conducted by the Bharti Vidyapeeth police on the route connecting the Ambegaon Pathar, Chintamani Jnanpith, to the highway. Vishal Chandrakant Amarale (35), of Bibvewadi, Pune, who resides in Punyanagari Society’s D Building, Flat No. 5, was apprehended and put into prison as soon as the investigative team arrived on the scene.

A case has been opened at the Bharti Vidyapeeth Police Station under IPC sections 302, 364, 388, 341, 323, and 34.
