Pune: Security Guard Murdered By Unknown Person In Hadapsar Area; Police Still In Search Of Accused

Fursungi, 15th November 2022: The body of a security guard was found in the Hadapsar area with a cloth tied around his nose and mouth.

 

The name of the deceased person is Kashanith Krishna Mahajan (55), a resident of Jalgaon. A case has been registered at Hadapsar police station against an unknown suspect in this regard. Shankar Muralidhar Bankar (42), a resident of Pune has filed a complaint with the police.

 

Complainant Shankar Bankar owns Monarch Company’s godown at Fursungi. Kashinath Mahajan was working as a security guard and diesel mechanic for the company.

 

Reportedly, when Kashinath was working in a godown, some unknown assailants killed Kashinath Mahajan by tying his hands and feet and clasping a cloth around his nose and mouth between Friday (11 November) at 7 pm to 7 pm Monday (14 November) for unknown reasons.

 

Upon getting information about the incident, senior police officials along with the officers and staff of Hadapsar police station rushed to the spot. They took possession of the dead body and sent it to Sassoon Hospital for autopsy.
