Pune: Husky Stolen From Camp Area, Incident Caught On CCTV

Pune, 13th November 2022: A Siberian Husky dog named Messi was stolen away from a camp area in Pune. Mojis D’Souza, the owner of Shravana, has filed a police complaint in this matter. According to the complaint lodged with the police, D’Souza is retired and owns a house on Dastur Meher Road in the camp area. He lives here with his wife and son.

 

On October 28, D’Souza’s son Clinton chained the dog to the iron gate outside the main gate after Messi was dropped off at night. But when the door opened at seven in the morning, Messi was not there. D’Souza searched the surrounding area for Messi but was unable to find her. When they checked the CCTV footage from several places nearby, they noticed that an individual was carrying Messi. They rushed to the police and filed a complaint.

 

D’Souza bought the Siberian Husky two years ago for Rs 35,000. A case under section 379 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered against an unknown person in this case. Police are searching for the accused based on CCTV footage. Incidents of stealing foreign breeds of dogs have increased in many upscale areas of Pune.
