Pune: RPF Returns Bag Containing Goods And Jewellery Worth Over Two Lakhs To Passenger

Pune, 10th November 2022: On November 4 (Friday), a passenger reported that he lost his bag while getting off from the escalator.

 

The person is named T. Kiran Kumar, a resident of Vikram Batra, Pune. He reported that he had come to Pune from Guntakal by Udyan Express. While coming down from the escalator, he forgot his blue trolley bag.

 

 

He searched for his bag but when he couldn’t find it, he rushed to the Railway Police Force (RPF).

 

On duty Constable Yuvraj Gaikwad and Constable Vishal Mane searched the said bag and found it lying on the platform. After retrieving the bag, the lock of the said bag was opened with the key, then the following item was received in it:

• A mangalsutra price estimated: Rs 1,80,000
• Two rings price estimated: Rs 30,000
• Gold earrings price estimated Rs 15,000
• Cash: Rs 1,000
• Bank Passbook, Aadhar Card, Keys, etc
• Clothes of family members

 

All the goods in the bag were estimated to be Rs 2,26,000. The goods were verified by Kiran and his wife in front of Sub-Inspector S. K. Sharma, and the bag was handed over to Kiran.
