Pune: Young Woman In Aundh Murdered By Her Cousin Due To Dispute Over Marriage
Aundh, 9th November 2022: A young woman was murdered by her cousin in the Aundh area due to a love dispute. Around 3.00 pm on Wednesday (November 9), he stabbed her with a sharp weapon.
The name of the deceased girl is Shweta Ranawade (22), a resident of Siddharth Nagar, Aundh, Pune. A case has been registered against Pratik Dhumal in this regard.
Reportedly, the incident took place due to the man’s anger over the rejection from the girl’s family for marriage. According to the information given by the police, Shweta and Pratik got into a serious fight over the issue of marriage on Wednesday afternoon.
He then took out a nearby weapon in anger and started attacking Shweta. After he injured the girl, he ran away. The young woman was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital but the doctors declared her dead before treatment.
