Pune Policeman Suspended For Assaulting Woman, FIR Registered

Vishram Bagh, 3rd November 2022: There was an incident where a bangle seller woman was beaten up by a Pune Police official out of anger for not being allowed to park his car in front of her shop. This incident took place on 19th October near Mandai Police Chowki. A case has been registered against Rahul Singhe in Vishrambaug Police Station and suspension action has been taken.

 

Kanchan Deepak Dode (50) has filed a complaint at the Vishram Bagh Police Station. Meanwhile, in this matter, the workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) followed up by demanding legal action against the Police Personnel Rahul Singhe, who beat up the concerned woman.

 

Finally, the police officers informed that a case has been registered against Singhe, and he has been suspended. Suspended police officer Rahul Singhe is working at Khadak Police Station.

 

 

Kanchan Dode owns a bangle shop near Mandai police station. On October 19, in the afternoon, Singhe came and parked his bike near the water tank in front of the shop. At that time, Kanchan Dode told Singhe not to park the two-wheeler at this place. Angered by this, Singhe abused Dode and injured her by punching her in the face near her eyes.

 

When Dode went to the police to complain about this, the police refused to take the complaint. But BJP leaders Chitra Wagh, Pramod Kondhare, and Pushkaraj Tuljapurkar took cognizance of this matter and demanded that a case be filed against the concerned police officer and demanded suspension. They also followed up on this case.

 

After this, a case was registered against the accused Rahul Singhe and suspension action was taken.
