Pune: Superintendent Of Police Ankit Goyal Takes Charge Of Pune Rural Police Force
Pune, 31st October 2022: Ankit Goyal took charge of the post of Pune Rural Police Superintendent on Sunday (October 30). Outgoing Superintendent of Police Dr Abhinav Deshmukh was present on this occasion.
Goyal was a superintendent in the Gadchiroli police force before assuming charge as the Pune Rural Superintendent of Police. Goyal had tried to disrupt the Naxalite activities in Gadchiroli. He implemented various activities to bring many people from the Naxalist movement into the mainstream.
In the background of the upcoming Zilla Parishad elections, Goyal will have to make efforts to maintain law and order in the district.
