Pune: Triple crown for Chandrama R at the RCBC Annual Table Tennis tournament
Pune, October 11, 2022: Chandrama R lifted credible triple crown while Ashok Sakhrani won double crown at the RCBC Annual Table Tennis tournament which is being organized by Royal Connaught Boat Club and played at their Pocha hall.
In the womens singles event, Chandrama R scored a 11/5, 11/6, 11/4 win over Jaya Patankar to claim the title. In Women’s Doubles finals, Chandrama R teamed up with Jaya Patankar to register a straight game win over Geeta B and Pallavi Nahar 11/5, 15/13, 11/8 and won her second crown.
In the Men’s Singles(Over 60age group) event finals, Ashok Sakhrani scraped past Suniel Shah 11/5, 11/9, 11/8 to win the second crown of the event. The prizes were given away at the hands of Mr Arun Kudale, President of RCBC and Mr Machindra Deokar, Hon. Secretary of RCBC and Sports Chairman Mr Sameer Savla. Mr Pritam Lunawat, Mr Gautam Lunawat, Mr Malhar Ganla were present on the occasion.
