Pune: After Break-Up Boyfriend Steals Valuables Worth Rs 14.67 Lakh From Girlfriend’s House

Pune, 8th October 2022: It has come to light that a lover broke into his girlfriend’s house in disguise to take revenge out of anger over the breakup. In this case, Bharati Vidyapeeth police station has arrested one person and seized 280 grams of gold ornaments and cash totally worth 14 lakh 67 thousand from him.

 

The arrested person has been identified as Sumit Babu Pardeshi, a resident of Padmavati. The robbery took place in a bungalow in Laxmi Garden Society area of Ambegaon on October 2.

A young dance artist filed a complaint with Bharti Vidyapeeth police station. The police verified the footage captured by the CCTV cameras in the area. Investigation revealed that the suspected thief is Sumit Pardeshi. He was detained. During interrogation, he confessed to the crime. To teach her a lesson, he disguised himself and committed theft at the girl’s house.

 

The action was taken under the guidance of DCP (Zone 2) Sagar Patil and Senior Police Inspector Srihari Bahirat by a team comprising Assistant Inspector Amol Rasal and Ganesh Bhosale, Mangesh Pawar, Harshal Shinde and Dhanaji Dhotre.
