Pune: Suspecting Her Character, Husband Killed His Wife And Hanged Himself
Pimpri, 22nd September 2022: A shocking incident has taken place in Bhosari MIDC of Pimpri-Chinchwad city where a man killed his wife and hanged himself due to suspicion of his wife’s character. This incident came to light this afternoon.
The accused and deceased woman have been identified as Shivarai Tukaram Aiwale (60) and Shantabai Shivarai Aiwale respectively.
According to the information given by the police, Shivarai and his wife Shantabai, son, grandson, and daughter-in-law live together. Today, when there was no one in the house, there was a fierce fight between the two due to suspicion of character.
Enraged, Shivarai hit wooden ‘Pooja Asan’ on the head of Shantabai and killed her. Then, the Bhosari MIDC police informed that he died by suicide by hanging.
When his daughter-in-law came home then the incident came to light. The police have said that the murder was due to the suspicion of character. Police are further investigating the incident.
