Pune: Two Men Arrested For Attacking Hindu Rashtra Sena Member At Sassoon Hospital
Pune, 18th September 2022: The sleuths from Crime Branch Unit 5 of Pune City Police have arrested two persons from Uttamnagar area along with the main conspirator who attempted to assassinate Hindu Rashtra Sena member Tushar Hambir who was undergoing treatment at Sassoon Hospital.
The arrested persons have been identified as mastermind Sutradhar Prakash alias Vaishnav Ranchoddas Diwakar (26) of Uttamnagar and Parvez alias Sahil Hyder Ali Inamdar (21) of Uruli Devachi.
According to police, Hambir who is a resident of Hadapsar was lodged in jail in a case registered with Loni Kalbhor police station. As he was unwell, he was admitted to the hospital where the accused attacked him on September 5.
Acting on a tip-off, the cops arrested Diwakar and Inamdar. Earlier the team had also arrested Prateek Waghmare and Hrithik Gaikwad.
The action was taken under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Srinivas Ghadge and ACP Narayan Shirgaonkar by the team comprising Police Inspector Hemant Patil, API Krishna Babar and police personnel Pratap Gaikwad, Pramod Tilekar, Vinod Shivle, Akbar Sheikh and Dayaram Shegar.
