Pune Police Raids Prostitution Business At Massage Centre In Wanowrie, Foreign Woman Among 4 Detained
Wanowrie, 30th August 2022 :The Social Security Cell (SSC) of Crime Branch raided a prostitution business running under the name of massage centre in Wanowrie area.
In this action, the Wanowrie police station has registered a case against the manager of the massage centre along with the owner and four women including the foreign woman were detained.
The accused has been identified as manager Preeti Vikas Gaikwad (33), a resident of Hadapsar, owner Ankush Jadhav of Lohegaon. The SSC received information that a prostitution business was being run under the guise of massage in a VIP family spa centre in a building in Kedarinagar area of Wanowrie. Police raided the massage centre and rescued four women. One of the detained women is from Thailand.
The action was taken under the guidance of Additional Police Commissioner Ramnath Pokle and Deputy Commissioner Srinivas Ghadge. The team included Senior Police Inspector Vijay Kumbhar, Sub Inspector Sridhar Khadke, Supriya Pandharkar and police personnel Rajendra Kumawat, Baba Karpe, Ajay Rane, Irfan Pathan, and Manisha Pukale.
