ZEAL EDUCATION SOCIETY CELEBRATED WORLD ENTREPRENEUR’S DAY ON 27th August 2016
Zeal Education Society’s Zeal Entrepreneurship Development Cell in association with the Maharashtra Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (MCED, Pune) Celebrated World Entrepreneur’s Day on 27th August 2016 at Zeal Campus Narhe Pune.
World Entrepreneurship Day (WED) is the first internationally-recognized day for the celebration, education, and inspiration of entrepreneurs and innovators. The purpose of the World Entrepreneur’s Day is to generate consciousness for entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership throughout the world. World Entrepreneur’s Day is the perfect day to celebrate the people who start a business alone. World Entrepreneur’s Day is the day of founders, managers, producers, contractors, industrialists, innovators, administrators, designers and producers.
Prosperity of a nation and society is measured by the entrepreneurial spirit of its people. Entrepreneurship is a key element of industrialization and economic progress therefore the Prime Minister of India, Shri.Narendra Modi announced the “Start-up India” initiative. This initiative aims at fostering entrepreneurship and promoting innovation by creating an ecosystem that is conducive for growth of Start-ups. The objective is that India must become a nation of job creators instead of being a nation of job seekers.
On the same thought process the event was inaugurated by Honorable Mr.Rohidas More (Founder and CEO, Universal Group of Industries), Honorable Mr.S.M.Katkar (Founder Director, Zeal Education Society, Zeal Industries and Zeal Enterprises, Pune), Mr.Yeshvant Gosavi (Famous Motivational Speaker) Mr. Dnyaneshwar Mulik (Joint Commissioner, PMC, Pune) and Prof.Jayesh Katkar (Executive Director, ZES).
The Main Attraction of the event was interaction and Experience sharing from Alumni Entrepreneurs of Zeal Education Society.
Mr.Rohidas More has addressed the audience with his experience where he covered the real life difficulties and challenges faced while starting his own business.

Prof.Yeshvant Gosavi Spoke about Entrepreneurial Qualities of Shivaji Maharaj and he motivated young budding entrepreneurs of zeal by various examples of Maratha history. , Mr.Prakash Agashe spoke about how De Asra supporting Young Entrepreneurs.
Mr.Manoj Deshmukh(Secretary Builder’s Association of India),Mr.Jitendra Tanna(CEO & MD Founder Eterneous Solutions Pvt.Ltd.),Mr.Amit Pednekar(Business Head India Inteliment Technologies),Mr.Sunil Nagpure(Director,Dran Engineers Pvt. Ltd.),Mr.Sandeep Shinde(Sai-Lee Electrotekniks Pvt.Ltd.),Mr.Anuj Bajaj (CEO,Pure Technology) and Mr.Pramod Sathe(Secretary Maratha Entrepreneur’s Association) shared their views on Entrepreneurship and Business Opportunities in India.
Zeal Entrepreneurship cell Supported their Alumni Entrepreneur’s therefore Mr.Aniket Bagal successfully started e- commerce website www.shoffex.com through this he served his customers in rural and Urban areas of Maharashtra and some other parts of India also.

Mr.Munnukumar Jha student from Zeal Engineering College shared his views that he started his Industrial and Household Electrical business Electrobs Home Services www.electrobs.com when he got help from Zeal ED cell. He is thankful to Zeal Education Society and specially Prof.Jayesh Katkar for his constant support, Guidance and Encouragement in setting up his business.
More than 500 students and Budding Entrepreneurs of Zeal Education Society from MBA, MCA, Engineering and Polytechnic participated in the event.
