Pune: Car Caught Fire In Khandala Tunnel

Lonavla: A car caught fire in the Khandala tunnel on the Mumbai-Pune expressway on Friday afternoon (July 15). The incident took place on Pune lane at 3.30 pm. 

According to the information received, the car came into the Khandala tunnel on Pune Lane and suddenly caught fire. No deaths were reported as the driver and others rushed out, but the car was completely burnt. 

Upon learning of the incident, IRB and Devdoot team rushed to the spot and tried to extinguish the fire. Khandala Highway Police helped to control the traffic at this time.
