Pune to pay tribute to Vincent Van Gogh

Pune, 26 July: Paying a tribute to the popular post-impressionist painter, Vincent Van Gogh on his 126th death anniversary, Dream a Painting, a unique art studio and digital art e-commerce website is organising a unique exhibition. Based on the life of this great Dutch painter, the exhibition titled as ‘Vincent Van Gogh – the genius’ will be free and open to all from July 29th to July 31st between morning 10:30am & evening 8:00pm at The Ravi Paranjape Art Gallery, near Model Colony Post Office, Shivaji Nagar.

The exhibition will be inaugurated on Friday, 29th July at 5:45pm by Sunil Vanarase, Head of Pune IT Park where Ravi Paranjape, a very senior and acclaimed Indian artist will also pay his tribute by taking the art lovers through an Art-Walk between 6:00pm and 7:00pm. Addition to this, Dream A Painting will also host few interesting programs which will be based on the paintings and life of Van Gogh.

On 30th July between 6.30pm to 7.30pm Ravi Paranjape will deliver an Art-Talk on Van Gogh’s most famous and critically acclaimed painting ‘Starry Night’.

On the last day that is 31st July between 6.30pm to 7.30pm there would be a screening of a documentary on the life of Vincent Van Gogh produced by BBC and Australian Network Television.

This exhibition will not only be an interesting & entertaining affair but will also educate the art lovers of Pune about the legend and his immense talent.
